Zeno is a hand-held battery-operated device designed with a tip that heats to a pre-set warmth. The biocompatible tip is designed for direct contact with a blemish on the skin. Once in contact with a blemish, the tip will transfer heat into the follicle. An internal PID controller chip continually modulates the warmth to a fixed range even under different skin and circulation conditions by adjusting the flow of energy to match precisely the heat absorption of the individual user. Zeno’s microprocessor adapts not only to your individual skin type but also to the heat absorption characteristics of the location of the pimple. Your Zeno adapts to you! An vital digital timer controls the behavior time. The level of heat does not cause skin hurt.

Specifically, Zeno stimulates a heat-shock response in p. acnes, the bacteria causing at least 90% of all acne blemishes. Heat shock proteins, activated by bacterial cells under heat stress, cause the self-destruction of p. acnes within the lesion, reducing inflammation and allowing the skin to return to a healthy state.

What is Zeno?

Zeno is a handheld, portable electronic health check device that is clinically proven to make pimples expire quick. In fact, for treating acne pimples, it's the most scientifically advanced and powerful device available without a prescription.

What does it do?

Zeno applies a precisely controlled heat dose frankly to the pimple through a metal pad. One behavior lasts 2½ synopsis. Two to three treatments spread over 24 hours clear up most pimples promptly. It's that simple.

How does it work?

Pimples occur when excess skin oil and flaking skin plug the opening of a hair follicle and make the ideal environment for acne bacteria to grow. Precisely controlled heat useful for a point period of time causes the bacteria to self-destruct. When the bacteria die, the pimple goes away.

How many treatments does it take?

Two to three 2½-minute treatments spread over 24 hours are sufficient for most pimples. Often, only one behavior is needed.

Who should use Zeno?

Zeno is for people with mild to moderate stirring acne. If in doubt, question your doctor.

When should Zeno be used?

Use Zeno at the first sign of a pimple. It works best when used on a pimple in the early stages of development. Also, the sooner pimples are vacant up, the less chance they have to leave scars.

How does Zeno compare with topical or oral treatments?

Zeno can clear up a pimple in just hours. Most other medications can take days or even weeks to work. What's more, other than slight, fleeting skin redness, Zeno has none of the side effects described by most topical or oral medications.

Is Zeno safe and painless?

Patients included in our clinical trials experienced small result to the low-level heat. Other than some fleeting skin redness following a behavior cycle, no other adverse side effects were reported. But should you experience any discomfort when using Zeno, discontinue use and consult your skin care certified.

Is Zeno all I need for acne?

Zeno does not replace excellent skin hygiene or a doctor's care. It is designed to treat mild to moderate stirring acne. Your doctor may recommend other therapies, depending on the severity of your acne. Follow your doctor's advice and use Zeno for the occasional pimple.

Do your homework--it really works!

I have extensive experience in the health check field and have owned the Zeno Product for quite some time. After reading the reviews, I can no longer remain silent. This is a wonderful product that has NEVER claimed to be a substitute for excellent hygiene. It is a very powerful product for when excellent hygiene fails (and, thanks to Mother Nature's ways, excellent hygiene will inevitably fail no matter what skin care behavior you have). I have never had a pimple that Zeno did not work on (including my hormonal and cystic acne). And, I did my "homework" before buying this product, as I would also promote you to do. It was very clear to me from the beginning what types of acne Zeno may not work on (it is CLEARLY individual in the owners manual that is published on the Zeno Website). I would in person rather conduct a 2.5 minute behavior on a blemish THAT I KNOW WORKS Promptly (at once to 24 hours) than try some topical that contains the usual Benzoyl Peroxide, which irritates and dries out my skin and doesn't get rid of the blemish. I keep a Zeno in my car (as well as in my purse--I really own 2) and have found it very convenient to use, no matter what time of day a pimple arrives (I ordinarily see an immediate, noticeable fall in the size of the pimple). It is very simple to use too. After arresting the power button and the unit is ready, the timer button light will go from amber to green. You then hit the green timer button to start your 2.5 minute behavior. It's really cool...once you hit the green timer button, it beeps every 30 seconds to let you know it is working on your pimple. At the end of the behavior, there are a series of beeps, so there is no way to confuse that the behavior is over. The Zeno gets a small warm, but it really feels excellent. It doesn't get too hot and it is very safe. If you go the beauty salon, paraffin wax is much hotter. Occasionally, it leaves a red mark after use, but the red mark fades promptly (less than an hour at most)--I have found this time to fall to less than 5 synopsis as my skin has now acclimated to the Zeno. Again, the most vital thing that I can stress is that I have found it to completely get rid of pimples promptly (at once-24 hours) if you use it when you first see or feel the pimple form. Sometimes, a larger pimple may take a few more treatments, so you just have to learn what works best for you. I really have thrown all my topical treatments away (again topicals just dry out the pimple, but the Zeno really kills the bacteria that formed the pimple before it hurts the skin--thus, the pimple is gone in much less time). All I need now is excellent hygiene and my Zeno. It is certainly worth the time and money. I highly recommend this incredible product!
It really works!!

Okay, I'll admit I was very very disbelieving.... but it works.....It really does! I am 33 years ancient and have moderate acne that is very hard to treat. For about the past year or so, I had been using 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide twice a day, every day. For the first few months, the BP treatments vacant my skin quite dramatically but then I more or less became "immune" to its effects and lately it hadn't been working quite as well, not to mention the fact that I was very weary of roughness a touch like that into my skin twice a day for the rest of my life! Ok, so I was ready to try a touch new and a touch that I felt like would be safe with minimal side-effects and that is when I started doing research on what is new out there in acne behavior and I ran across all the rave reviews on the Zeno. I plotting about it for a while and then resolute to take the plunge since it has a 30-day money back guarantee (what did I have to lose?) I was fully in the family way to be sending it back after two weeks! Well, to my utter bewilderment, the thing really works! You will notice immediate reduction in puffiness of the pimple after the first behavior and then over the next two treatments it will take up again to expire and ordinarily by the next day sometimes two days, it is gone!
And a touch you might want to know if you haven't resolute to buy Zeno yet, is when we Zeno owners say that your acne bump disappears by the 2nd day... you guys out there that haven't bought it yet are thinking "but I don't want to walk around for two days with a zit", but what you need to be with you is that it is not like having a regular acne lesion/bump because you started treating it while it was still just that tender lump under your skin, so by the next day you only have a mildly tender nearly non-surviving lump under your skin, not some half-erupted red zit for all to see! Reckon about that for a nice change!
Worked for me

Yes, it's basically a recharable battery and a heating element. Yes, it is expensive. [..].

I really wanted to rip on this thing and call it junk, but I have to admit IT WORKED. I've tried it about 5 times and it's helped tremendously. On a couple of occasions, it really did work overnight! Incredible.

So I'll gladly place up with the price tag because eventually my social life is worth it. Plus, it's cheaper than going to the dermotologist (who in my experience, really can't do a damn thing.) For people who have tried all the other lotions and pills and gimmicks, it's worth a try.
Takes the pain away!

Zeno worked on my cystic acne. It took four days, but the cyst is gone! After the first full day, there was a noticable reduction in pain and size. After two days, there was just a small red bump. Three days nearly not anything. Fourth day, completely gone.

The best thing about the Zeno treatments, is that for me it at once takes away the pain of the cyst. It also reduced the puffiness much quicker than if I did not use the Zeno.

I had a friend tell me to leave the Zeno in place even after the ending beep. The tip seems to get a small warmer, but it seemed to help in my circumstances. I held the Zeno in place until I heard the continuous beeping. Please use your own common sense on this. I don't deliberate the tip too warm, but for some people it may be too awkward.

I used it every three or four hours for four days. I used it mostly for pain relief from the cyst. I never expected the cyst itself to go away. 18 treatments and the cyst is gone with no scarring. Wish I would have had this sooner.

For me it worked. I certainly did not have the "one time and it is gone" experience. Of course, mine was a huge cyst (one half of an inch wide) on my chin, so I was diligent with the treatments, and sure enough, it is completely gone. I made sure I used the Zeno until there was absolutely no bump left at all. Without the Zeno, it probably would have taken a more than a week to come to an hideous head, and then a further month for it to heal (probably with a scar).

Is it worth it? For me it is. I despise the inconvenience of going to the dermatologist and then waiting in the office for a cortisone shot. Also my dermatologist's office is closed on weekends which according to Murphy's law is when I tend to get the monster pimples, so this is perfect for me. The tips will be expensive, but taking into account the cost of gas, time, and office visit, it is still a much cheaper alternative.

A further thing I liked, was that I could use it over makeup. So, while I covered the redness with concealer, I was still able to zap the cyst right over the concealer. Pretty nifty device.
The only thing that works!

I'm in my mid-thirties and have been distress from cystic, hormonal breakouts on my chin for over ten years. I've tried Proactiv, antibiotics, spironlactone, acnezine, and just about every other cream, wash, scrub out there. Then I came across this product at Target and did some online research before purchasing. Since it had such rave reviews, I resolute to make the investment. I'm so glad I did. The product really works on my large, takes a month to clear, cysts. I am very aggressive, though. I leave the unit on the spot until it warms and until it warms up again or even give it a double shot every four to five hours. Costly, but worth it in my opinion. I've only had the product a week and have already had to replace the tip (which I believe is a scam to generate a revenue stream), but if it will save me embarrassment and future scarring it is a dream come right.

Tip - it is very loud. My husband teased me a bit because I was using the tool in the bathroom, and it sounded like I was playing video games. Now I use it in the car on my way to work, driving to lunch and then home again. As an added bonus, it doesn't seem nearly as long a process while you're driving.
